Yesterday I spent the day in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, taking in the tastes and sounds of the first ever Great Googa Mooga, sampling the tastes of local hot spots and hearing some great music with friends. Sure, the lines were long and buying drinks was more than a hassle than it should have been, but it was still a lot of fun. I can now add The Roots and Holy Ghost to the list of bands I’ve seen live. I had also never been to Prospect Park and it had been a while since I had spent so much time in Brooklyn. There were many kinks (the Moula cards that never were, anyone?), but I would totally go back.
