Happy 2011!!! I spent New Year’s Eve at a house party, eating good fried turkey and counting down the hours until The Honeymooners marathon. 2011 marks ten years since I graduated from high school (you know what that means) and my first full year of freelance writing. Hopefully at my high school reunion I have a ton of writing stories to share.
I’ve already gotten to work on my writing blog, changing it up to make it look more professional and easier on the eyes. Next up is my website, which means a long process drawn out by my lack of knowledge on html (gulp). I’m also looking forward to doing more networking, handing out my business card like a madwoman. I also just want to get out of the house more.
As far as New Year’s Resolutions go, I don’t really have any. I just want to continue the work I’ve been doing and progress in my writing. I hope to expand my portfolio and be more knowledgeable in business writing. I also want to go to more concerts and see my friends more.
I think 2010 was a good year, but like everyone else, I’m looking forward to more in this new year. Hopefully, it’s just all good. Happy New Year!!!
